In any type of a sales position you will meet many types of people. Many will have a different sexual orientation than yourself. Do not judge them! Instead, treat them like normal people. You will find that everyone has the potential to be a great customer. Bottom line, don't judge a book by the cover. As you will read there are many things to be wary of when you deal with people. Sexual orientation is the least of your worries!

Everybody has skeletons of their own sexuality in the closet; once they are let loose, there is no putting them back in. For instance, there is a teenage boy and his secret is that he is a boy trapped in a girl's body. As soon as his secret is revealed, he is raped and murdered by his friends. In another instance, there is a successful man who hides his homosexuality. In order to remain in the closet he ends up killing, and hiding all his lovers in the cross space. In this last example, there is a teenage boy who is a closet homosexual. He eventually reveals this secret to his friends; consequently, they tie him to the back of a pickup, and drag him to his death. Often, the worst appears in others and themselves once the dark side is discovered. Mark Twain quoted it best by stating, "Everyone is a moon and has a dark side which he [or she] never shows to anybody."

It is important to understand personality types. If you market to a blue for instance you want to be short and to the point. You want to let him/her know that it is fun. Do not bore them with unnecessary details. For more information on this please download the FREE ebook from http://successsuperhighway.successin10steps.com.

I want you to read the below essay and guess what the writer's personality type is. You must also read the ebook http://successsuperhighway.successin10steps.com to better understand this. If you really want to know more please feel free to contact me.

I spent the best vacation of my life at Cub Scout Day Camp serving as the program director. I was responsible for planning and carrying out activities for the boys to participate in. I put together eight stations which the boys rotated to every thirty minutes. We held family night on Thursday which included a barbeque and a campfire. On Friday we held Olympic Games and ended the program with an awards ceremony.

The activities the boys participated in were archery, ball bearing rifles, slingshots, field sports, scoutcraft, handicraft, nature, and swimming. Each of these stations had an Olympic style theme where the boys competed for bronze, silver, and gold pony beads. The boys also had a break period where they were able to work on songs, skits, and cheers for the campfire on family night.

On family night after the camp all the Cub Scouts went home except for the WEBELOS. We split the WEBELOS into several groups where they helped prepare the camp for the evening festivities. One group was assigned to setup the campfire ring. The other group was assigned to prepare and cook the feast. After the boys finished up their tasks they greeted and served the guests that arrived for the barbeque.

After the feast the guests gathered around the campfire. The cub scouts were called up to perform their songs, skits and cheers they practiced throughout the week. As the campfire came to a close, I called up the staff members and handed each of them a certificate of my appreciation for the efforts they put into the camp. The campfire closed with a ceremonial song as the visitors quietly departed the camp.

On Friday the cub scouts had a blast participating in the Olympian Games. The boys had the opportunity to use the objects they created in handicraft for ultimate Frisbee and the Olympic torch relays. After lunch they participated in a Congo line through the water misters. For the last event the boys headed to the lake for a free swim period. At the end of the day we ended with a big awards ceremony where every boy received an award or two.

Everyone from the boys to the adults had a blast. I am looking forward to spending my vacation running camp again next year. The theme will be Medieval Madness and the boys are going to be able to participate in many medieval events. Even though my vacation was considered work, I still think it was the best vacation I ever had.

Memory and Direct Marketing Techniques

The three techniques I use on a regular basis are reciting and repeating, over learning and creating associations. I generally recite and repeat when I am learning a new skill that I wish to master. One example would be learning how to tie knots. I tend to over learn when I have to learn a highly complex skill; such as learning a programming language. Finally, I create associations when I am learning a skill which I find to be intimidating, like mathematics.

I use recite and repeat when I learn a new skill. First I learn the skill. Then I repeat the skill six additional times to ensure I won't forget the fundamentals of the skill. Using this technique I learned how to tie every knot in the Boy Scout Handbook. I can still tie these knots I learned when I was 12 years old.

I have a tendency to see the big picture with everything I do. When I am learning a new programming language I have to know what each and every statement, loop, variable type, etc does before I even begin creating my first application. Once I have this understanding, I am able to manipulate the language. If I didn't over learn this skill I would be writing buggy software which I wouldn't be able to properly debug.

I also tend to associate a subject that I find boring or intimated by to something that has to do with my career or hobbies. I associate mathematics to computer programming. With this in mind mathematics has become much easier for me to grasp. I now look forward to math classes because of the close ties mathematics has with computer programming.

Each of these techniques has allowed me to master each skill set I have. Without these techniques I wouldn't know how to tie knots, write computer applications or have decent mathematical skills. I would have to say these strategies are priceless to my ability to remember what I have learned.

Learning and Direct Marketing Techniques

Thank you for joining us to the journey into my implementation of learning and direct marketing techniques. To keep you safe please put your tray table up, your seatback into its upright position and buckle your safety harness as you delve into the deep recesses of my mind.

Use waiting time

I attend about three to four meetings every day. While waiting for these meetings to start I pull out my textbook and read the assigned text for the current lesson.

Use a regular study area

My primary location for studying is at my mom's place where I have two rooms to myself. The first of which is a study den and the other is an office. The study den contains a comfortable chair, excellent lighting and a writing surface to take my notes. The office contains high-end office equipment and a comfortable chair.

Learn to say no

In my nine almost ten years as an adult leader in the Boy Scouts of America I served as both a volunteer and a paid employee. When I first started I took on about eight assignments. I soon realized I was in over my head and I started to fail at those assignments. After my third unit fell apart, I cut back on the assignments. Now, when I am asked to run a project or a program and my plate is just about full I politely say no and direct the person requesting assistance to the proper resources.

Get off the phone

When I study I turn the phones off and let the voicemail system pickup. During my break sessions I check the voicemail and only return the phone calls that pertain to my work. All other phone calls must wait until I am finished studying for the day.

Ask: is this a piano

I have learned in the past that there is a balance between perfect and great work. As I was able to save on the time it would have taken to create the perfect work I was able to save the customer a bit of money and myself a bit of time.

Ask: would I pay myself for what I'm doing right now

Everything I do I assign a dollar amount to. If there is a service that is lower than my time and materials or if the reverse were true, I would choose the lower cost option. The same goes with everything else in life, you have to calculate the cost of materials as well as the time it takes to be able to see how much something is really worth.

Ask: can I do just one more thing

As things come up I have to look to my calendar and look for an opening. Many times I find that I have to reschedule an appointment to make one fit. I purposely schedule sleep for eight hours with two of those hours set for flex-time. I also have to schedule in work and meals. With all this in place I am able to ask myself that particular question with an honest answer.

Ask: can I delegate this

Working in management positions in the past eight years I have learned that I can't do everything myself. As such I hand tasks that do not need my direct attention down to other people to handle. I have learned that there is, "no me in team" and in everything that has to be done in this world has to be done in a team environment. As a team leader I will assign tasks to my team members and give them deadlines on the task(s) at hand.

Ask: how did I just waste my time

I found in the past that I used to spend hours reading news sites on the Web and I accomplished nothing. As I grew aware of this issue I learned ways to catch myself. The simplest was a to-do list attached to my monitor. As I begin to read page after page of information, my eyes hit the right side of my monitor and I see the to-do list and I move onto the next item on the list.

Ask: am I willing to promise it

In the Boy Scouts we have a law and the first point of this law is trustworthy. As I live by this law in my everyday life I am constantly thinking to myself, "If I say this, am I able to hold myself up to my end of the bargain". With this in mind, I am extra careful when I say something to anyone as they will hold me to whatever I say.

I am continuously modifying these techniques. They have taken a long time to develop, and they are constantly being refined. Please remove your safety harness and thank you for taking this journey into my implementation of learning techniques.
